I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 17 years of experience in mental health, including the past 9 as a provider. I’ve had the privilege of working across many settings, from inpatient and outpatient care to community mental health, home-based psychiatry, ER psychiatric triage, and medical consultation. I am currently pursuing certification in perinatal and postpartum mental health and have a deep passion for supporting people through hormonal changes across the lifespan.
I work with adults 18 and older to navigate a wide range of mental health challenges, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD (including vast experience treating military related PTSD), anxiety disorders, women's mental health, substance use disorders, and insomnia.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, empowered, and actively involved in your care. I’m currently seeing patients at our West Des Moines clinic, and will be relocating to our new Ankeny location upon opening (October 2025).
