About
Hi, contact me if you're looking for an experienced, empathic Board Certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist who will work collaboratively with you to help you improve your quality of life and resilience. In treatment with me, you will find a safe, supportive environment where mutual respect, trust and personal growth become possible. I will work closely with you to select a treatment that best fits your individual needs and preferences, whether it's lifestyle changes, psychotherapy, medications, or a combination. Your input is very important to me and I am happy to answer any questions about the process and treatment.
I use Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, CPT (for PTSD), and Supportive therapies and also incorporate them into medication management sessions. We will work together to help you deal with stress and improve your coping strategies. Medications can also be helpful in alleviating symptoms when chosen thoughtfully and based on patient's individual needs.
Our first meeting will be a thorough evaluation during which you will have an opportunity to tell me about what's been bothering you and your goals and I will ask about your personal and family history. Afterwards, I will offer feedback and we will discuss treatment options and your preferences. Please call the office; I hope to hear from you soon!
