The Olive Space Psychiatry LLC is a private psychiatric practice headed by Dr. Issa P. Bagayogo MD PHD. He is a proud member of several organizations that advocate for the advancement of mental health such as The American Psychiatric Association and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. As a Global Mental Health specialist, he has participated in international training and consulting work to promote mental health and reduce stigma. Specifically, he specializes in pharmacological management of psychiatric disorders and addiction issues, using the latest evidence and consensus-based approaches.
Dr. Bagayogo is also a trained scientist, having receiving his PHD in neuroscience at the Rutgers University in addition to his MD. This specialized training provides him with a unique understanding of the biology of the brain, guides his scientific curiosity and directs his approach to medical care.
