Dr. Dara Fernandez is an experienced bilingual (Spanish), double board certified Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, sought after for her caring and warm nature; therapeutic and professional persona; and ability to provide expert mental health care. I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist, with a background in HIV, psychiatry, integrative psychiatry and treatment resistance. I have also pursued an additional two years of training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the NYU psychoanalytic institute. I am a licensed, board certified Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 10+years of experience in psychiatry. I provide both prescription medication management and also psychotherapy with meditative focus to help my clients obtain symptom relief. My office is an accepting, supportive space where we will explore more effective ways to rest and heal our minds. I specialize in depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, and self-esteem issues. I completed my psychiatric nurse practitioner training at NYU with a clinical focus in child/adolescent psychiatry. Since then I have worked extensively with adolescents coming out of intensive care programs for psychosis and children/adolescents with neurodiversity. A typical initial evaluation is 90 minutes and the follow-ups are 30 minutes.

All appointments are currently virtual. He is licensed in New York and California. He founded the group private practice, Ficus Psych. In private practice, he sees children, teens, and adults. Dr. Sayer understands that the best outcomes happen when patients and doctors work as a team. It is his mission to use his expertise, in combination with the unique characteristics of each patient, to empower patients to make meaningful progress in their lives.

I am a psychiatrist who treats children, adolescents, adults, and families at Montefiore Hospital and in my private practice. I assist patients with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, crises of identity, and interpersonal issues. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College in Westchester, NY in 2008. Dr. Eagle completed a four-year psychiatric residency at Mount Sinai West in New York City. She then went on to complete a two-year child fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx and a one-year consult liaison fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center/Weill Cornell in Manhattan.
