I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist, licensed in New York. I have trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, family and marital therapy. I have always felt that the brain is the most important and neglected organ in the body, and taking care of the brain is the key to well being. I take a holistic approach to care, evaluating for physical, nutrition, hormones, situational and psychodynamic causes of illness, whilst practicing evidence based psychiatry. I have a background in integrative psychiatry and HIV psychiatry. I believe that everyone has value, and everyone deserves the best care.

I am a board certified adult psychiatrist specializing in women's mental health and reproductive psychiatry. I work solely with adult women ages 18 and above. I have specialized training and competency in treating premenstrual dysphoric disorder, pregnant and postpartum women, as well as those experiencing infertility.

She then went on to complete a two-year child fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx and a one-year consult liaison fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center/Weill Cornell in Manhattan.

Chris Karampahtsis, MD, MPH, is a Harvard trained, dually board-certified child & adolescent and adult psychiatrist. Currently an adjunct assistant professor of psychiatry at the NYU Long Island School of Medicine, he now brings his wealth of academic and clinical experience to seeing pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients at his private practice.
