I'm a board-certified psychiatrist whose specialty is psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. I treat people suffering with depression, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, inattention, low self-esteem, gender/sexuality issues, trauma, grief, and relationship or work difficulties. While my focus is therapy, I use medication when necessary.
I trained in medicine at Temple University and completed my psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai in Manhattan. Additionally, I completed training in psychoanalysis at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute (NYPSI). I am on the faculty of both Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where I supervise residents, and at NYPSI, where I teach candidates in training.
