Marcel Green MD is a double board-certified Child & Adolescent as well as Adult Psychiatrist. He is a graduate of Columbia University’s medical school, and obtained psychiatry residency training within the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and child-adolescent psychiatry fellowship training within the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. I received my Bachelors Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where I majored in the Biological Basis of Behavior and competed on the Men's Varsity Swimming Team. After graduating and prior to medical school, I became a private high school science teacher. I completed my Psychiatry residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC, where I was selected as Chief Resident. During that time, I also completed a Psychodynamic Fellowship at New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. I then completed a Clinical Research Fellowship at the National Institute of Mental Health with a focus on Depression and Anxiety.

Dr. DeSarbo is a Board Certified psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of EATING DISORDERS and general psychiatry including mood disorders, anxiety issues, ADHD, OCD, relationship issues. In addition to psychopharmacology, he also practices CBT and existential therapy. He is the Medical Director of ED-180 Eating Disorder Treatment Programs which provides custom intensive treatment programs for patients in the Long Island/NYC area.
