I have a true passion for mental health and for helping others. People often ask why I chose Psychiatry, and I respond that it chose me. I was a registered nurse for 17 years prior to embarking on this journey as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I've taught mental health to nursing students for several years, then started working as a Psych NP in 2018. I've worked with patients of all acuities and diagnoses, including substance abuse, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, OCD, PTSD, and ADHD. I am comfortable treating children and adults and have additional training in perinatal psychiatry(pregnancy and post-partum)

Hello, I’m Tim, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have always been interested in the mind-body connection and am very excited to work with new patients to help them define what they would like to work on and find a safe and effective path forward.

I am a psychiatrist who works with children, teenagers, adults and their families to help them with mental, emotional and behavioral challenges. I employ both psychotherapy and psychiatric medication, when appropriate, to improve the functioning and happiness and alleviate the suffering of my patients. I enjoy, and have experience, working with many different types of people on a wide range of issues.

Born and raised in Kansas City, I decided to pursue a medical career during high school. I went to trade school and worked as a medical assistant and phlebotomist. After several years I decided to further my education in nursing, attaining my LPN, RN, BSN, MSN, and post-graduate certification. I graduated summa cum laude from all nursing coursework. Margurite decided to pursue my PMHNP certification out of my desire to more effectively help others suffering from anxiety and depression.

I feel that medications can provide relief for biological psychiatric conditions, but most of the long term relief comes from working through and reworking unhealthy behavioral patterns. Treating Psychiatric conditions is an art that requires balancing the medical treatments with looking at unconscious maladaptive behaviors. Once patterns are identified, the work we do will lead to change. I take the approach of meeting clients where they are at and working together in a relational model to reprocess and work through trauma.

Treatment plan is co-designed by PEC and you; addressing your short and long term goals, prioritizing your most urgent concerns to improve your overall health and functioning.

I've embraced roles ranging from EMT at 16 to specializing in pediatric nursing and emergency/trauma care. I received my BSN and MSN-Ed from the University of Central Florida, I now tread the path toward a DNP at Regis University. Simultaneously, I serve as a full-time assistant professor, imparting knowledge and nurturing future healthcare professionals. I completed my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) education through Colorado State University-Pueblo, where I'm fostering a passion for mental health across the lifespan. Hiya! My name is Amanda and I love working in the mental health field. After many years of travelling and living across the United States, I am happy call Colorado home and have lived here for over a decade so far. Having had the opportunity to live among many other cultures and those with different lifestyles and values has provided me with a broad humanistic perspective, burgeoning empathy, and a wealth of experience that have positively impacted my work with those in need.

Dr. Quaratella is an outpatient adult psychiatrist practicing in Colorado offering both psychotherapy and medication management. She completed her undergraduate studies at Yale University and graduated with her MD from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She attended residency at the University of Colorado, serving as a chief resident.

I want to help those suffering with ADHD, depression/anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and other mental health issues. I want to truly listen to the needs of my patients and formulate an individualized plan to get you feeling better.
