I am a Cornell educated psychiatrist in SoHo who helps people undergoing stressful circumstances live more meaningful and balanced lives. To do so, I take a warm, empathic and thorough approach to help find the right combination of psychotherapy - and if warranted - medication.
I have experience treating patients with a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including difficulties with mood, anxiety, identity, work and relationships. My therapy style draws from training in psychodynamic, CBT, mindfulness, and meaning-focused approaches.
I am also a neuroscientist studying the scientific underpinnings of stress and depression. My scientific expertise helps me keep abreast of the latest developments in psychiatric treatment.
