I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with knowledge in working with clients of all ages and backgrounds including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I have experience in psychiatric treatment and management of Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar disorders, ADHD and substance abuse. I use a person-centered, individualized approach to treatment and rely on evidence-based practices that recommend the combination of medication management and a commitment to psychotherapy to improve treatment outcomes.

Stephanie L. Weingard graduated from Florida International University, achieving a post-masters certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in inpatient, outpatient and intensive outpatient settings over the past 8 years. She is also a United States Air Force Reservist and works providing mental health care to both active duty and reserve members.

My goal is to help my patients best manage their symptoms with the careful use of psychiatric medications. The gold standard of psychiatric treatment is both medication and therapy, therefore I recommend all of my patients are currently in therapy if they are being prescribed medication. I am a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
