Dr. Swanson treats a spectrum of psychiatric and psychological concerns, focusing on individual challenges such as relationship difficulties, life transitions, personal fulfillment, and identity, in addition to addressing psychiatric issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and OCD. In my practice, treatments are tailored to each individual's needs and preferences, and can incorporate psychotherapy, medications, or both. Because I believe change happens most easily when we don’t feel judged, I aim for a warm and compassionate stance towards the challenges my patients face.

I have focused training in perinatal psychiatry. I provide medication management for preconception, pregnant, and postpartum families. I have a special interest in working with individuals coping with stress related to infertility and medical complications during the perinatal period, including, high-risk pregnancy, fetal diagnosis, congenital anomalies, NICU stays and transitions home after a NICU hospitalization.
