Ideally my patient is as invested in their care as I am. They could have a variety of diagnoses but the thing they have in common is they are willing to give the process time, are open to new ideas, and know there is no magic pill to fix all their problems. My patients want to get to the best version of themselves and are willing to try therapy as well as medications to help them reach that goal. My patient wants an empathetic, listening provider who can guide their care based on the evidence, but tailored to their individual needs.

My ideal client would understand that the journey to wellness and recovery requires time, effort, and patience. They would be receptive to treatment suggestions which may include psychotherapy, behavioral interventions, and medication options. My patients would take an active role in their care, and engage in open and honest communication with their provider.

I am double board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. I believe in using both medication when indicated as well as therapy. I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. During my residency I served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry Award as well as the Clinical Excellence Award.

I am dedicated to thoughtful and persisting care for my Adolescent, Adult, and Elder Adult patients. I believe it is my job first to help my patients be heard. When one is able to articulate and discuss his or her concerns, then the meaning of these issues comes into better focus. On the basis of this information, we can build a more lasting, substantial plan to best meet one’s unique needs and goals. I am extremely grateful to Vanderbilt and Johns Hopkins for my medical & Psychiatry residency training. I am especially grateful to my patients. They have taught me most of all.

As a pediatric nurse of 20 years I saw the struggles that our youth (and their parents) were having with mental health. While seeking care for my own children and finding a limited amount of providers or long waitlists, I felt a calling to be part of the solution. Jan Grovenberry, PMHNP Jan Grovenberry is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Indiana who has been practicing since 2020. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a Master's Degree in Nursing from IUPUI, Indianapolis, IN. Jan helps her clients with her exceptional compassion/sensitivity and communication/relationship building and problem-solving skills. In her spare time, Jan enjoys time with her family. She loves fishing, boating, biking, gardening, bowling, going to concerts/ festivals and advocating for animal welfare.

Leticia L. Vance is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Indiana who has been practicing since 2012. She has a Master of Science in Nursing Indiana from Wesleyan University: Primary Care Nursing, a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a Post-Master's Certificate from Eastern Kentucky University. Leticia has experience with patients who have to balance mental health issues with their chronic disease management.

Dr. Carder has been practicing for over 20 years in general adult psychiatry. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has a certification in Elder Law. She has advanced training in psychopharmacology which she earned with distinction. She received her medical degree from the University of Toledo, College of Medicine and Life Sciences. She completed her internship with the Department of Family medicine and completed her residency with Department of Psychiatry both at the University of Toledo, College of Medicine and Life Sciences.

Dr. Austin Lin is a double board-certified adult and addiction psychiatrist who has been in practice for over 9 years. At the center of Dr. Lin’s clinical approach is a strong emphasis on establishing trust and using a collaborative approach to help patients develop an individualized and cohesive plan so that they are able to achieve their goals. Dr. Lin's practice focuses on medication management. Typically, he offers this in conjunction with supportive therapy, motivational interviewing, and/or cognitive behavioral therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits.

Our wonderful patients come from all walks of life. They seek evaluation, treatment, and relief from depression or suicidal thoughts that are resistant to antidepressants and/or other medications. We care for patients either as their primary psychiatric provider or upon referral to us from other medical or therapy providers. We treat with Spravato (generic name esketamine) or ketamine. Even if patients decide they do not want ketamine-based treatment, we have other effective ways to help. We are a mental health clinic and that is our passion.

I am uniquely Board Certified in adult as well as child and adolescent psychiatry. I completed adult psychiatry residency at Wayne State University MI then furthered education with child psychiatry fellowship at Brown University RI. I have worked in various clinical settings including inpatient units, outpatient, residential facilities and ER. As a child psychiatrist I have enjoyed working at school based clinics, academic institutions and community mental health agencies. These years of extensive clinical experience enable me to utilize various modalities of treatment for all age groups.

Dr. Kahlon has been a psychiatrist trained in the USA. He has been with the Veteran's Affairs for the past 24 years. He was employed as a staff psychiatrist and worked with a wide variety of challenging patients in the VA system. Dr. Kahlon provides medication management along with supportive therapy. In case needed further referral is made to a counselor or therapist.
