One model can’t fill all—which is why I take on an individualized holistic approach in treating patients struggling with mental illness. I will work with you to find the underlying causes of your mental illness and above all, empower you towards your recovery. I have six personal principles that I follow, that is to bring the best out in my patients, to be honest, to be kind, to seek new knowledge and truth, to change my mindset when old ways are not working anymore, and to do my best in all that I do.
Welcome to my practice. I am a board-certified psychiatrist in Chicago. I treat a wide range of concerns that include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, relationship and career problems, as well as low self-esteem. I've also worked with patients seeking help during crises, support during life transitions, or looking to develop a better understanding of themselves. Starting with a thoughtful evaluation, we will decide together how I can be helpful to you. I take a holistic, integrative approach, and see most of my patients for talk therapy, although treatment may include medications (if indicated).
I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to treat the population who have mental health issues, their needs and goals, assisting a person to live a better life. My main focus is to treat the patient holistically, mind, body, soul and building self-esteem.
Mental illness affects people from all walks of life and does not discriminate. I understand this and feel that everyone deserves compassionate treatment regardless of race, political affiliation, gender identity, sexual preference, or religious beliefs. I strive to provide trauma-informed care to all of my clients. This directly impacts my approach to treatment and has given me the ability to connect with my clients on a fundamental level. I understand that getting help can be difficult and that medication is not right for everyone. I will work with you to determine what is the best course of treatment for you.
