I look forward to working with individuals to explore their mental health and to improve wellbeing based on their individual goals by utilizing a holistic, collaborative person-centered approach. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and a Master’s of Science in Nursing, specializing in Psychiatric-Mental Health. I am also board-certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
My practice includes the treatment of individuals with a variety of clinical concerns with a specialized focus on mood, anxiety, trauma, and attentional problems. I value a thorough diagnostic assessment in order to provide individualized care. Because I am skilled in utilizing biological treatments, such as psychiatric medication, as well as psychotherapy, I can provide multiple treatment options. I emphasize a thorough discussion of my diagnostic impressions, and I strongly encourage patients to ask questions and share in treatment decisions. My goal is for patients to feel comfortable and confident with their care.
I am passionate about what I do and I love working with all kinds of people to help them with their problems whether its anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, family, school, marital, work, or relationship problems. My goal is to help my clients feel safe, heard, understood, and to help them reach their goals. I believe in individualized care and treatment as everyone is different and has different needs and aspirations for themselves. I love working with kids, parents, adults, and couples to help them solve whatever communication issues they are having in order to facilitate care. I want to help people live their best life every day.
