Hello, I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and I have been practicing in Michigan for the past 3 1/2 years. I received my Master of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky university. My devotion is to help individuals and families facing mental health challenges regain hope and start enjoying life again. I was a psychiatric nurse for 11 years before pursuing my master. The skills learned continue to be relevant to my practice.
In our first session, we will have a short introduction and you will state the reason you are seeking for help. We will review your psychiatric/med/social history and together we will work on a plan suiting your needs for follow-up sessions.
Having been a psychiatric nurse for 11 years, I have worked with various psychiatric diagnoses and learned to prioritize clients' needs. Active listening is a strength that will continue to help me tailored individualized treatment plans to meet my clients needs.
