Erin Ferriter Huston grew up in a large family in Montana City. She was involved in many sports, especially soccer. Erin was a Carroll College graduate. She was employed as a RN in pediatric and psychiatric settings. After 10 years, Erin pursued further education at Montana State University to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner. This diverse profession has allowed Erin to work in psychiatric settings out of state, within MT and in the Helena area. As a provider, Erin believes that patients are most successful when they have trust in their provider, when a provider actively listens and when they feel included in their care.
Erin is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Patients are evaluated over several sessions to determine a diagnosis that may explain symptoms. We review medication education every session. At appointments, patients explore psychological concerns. Therapeutic guidance is provided to support positive psychological and behavioral modifications.
This provider has collaborative discussions with each patient to determine diagnoses and treatment plan. Education is a focus because there is misinformation about mental health disorders and medications. We discuss your diagnosis in depth and review medications options.Together, we operate as a team because you are the main advocate in your own health care
