I am a holistic practitioner who believes in each individual's ability to improve themselves. I am also a Duke University-trained medical doctor, a therapist, a researcher, a husband and a father. I strive to bring the knowledge and experience that I continue to acquire in these roles into my approach to the practice of medicine. During sessions, I focus on the here-and-now and use a variety of tools to help my clients move forward. My work is characterized by compassion, collaboration, optimism, warmth and hope.
My areas of focus include attention difficulties, poor memory, depression, anxiety, substance use, disordered eating, stress management, nutrition, integrative medicine and lifestyle choices to improve function. I work with children, adolescents and adults under 70 years of age.
I am the founder of South Florida Integrative Medicine, a holistic mental health practice in Coral Gables that houses psychiatrists, psychologists, coaches and integrative practitioners. We offer psychiatric and counseling services; neurofeedback; psychological testing services; testing for medication sensitivity; genetic testing; gut, hormonal, allergy and immune function testing; nutritional services; body talk; reiki; and hypnotherapy.
