I believe that your mental health treatment should be as unique and individualized as you are. We are far more than just a group of symptoms that make up diagnoses, only to be treated with a generic list of medications. In my practice, I aim to incorporate evidence-based treatments while also considering the different factors that impact your mental health while working in collaboration with you. I limit my caseload to optimize availability for my established patients along with providing flexibility in scheduling and appointment times.
My philosophy is based on the biopsychosocial model which aims to understand the unique characteristics such as your genetic background, your medical history, your biochemical pathways along with the psychological and environmental factors that are based on your unique life experiences.
By understanding these components and how they interact with each other, I can make personalized treatment recommendations, focusing on medication management for your specific mental health needs.
