Howard is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at New Oakland Family Centers. For more than 30 years, New Oakland has been Michigan’s most dedicated providers of quality, compassionate, innovative mental health care and services. Today, more than 30,000 people across our state receive service from New Oakland every year. In addition to outpatient services, we offer PHP level of care. Children, adolescents and adult patients participate in age specific groups during the day, and depending on the severity of their circumstances, will attend sessions either three or five days a week. The average length of stay is 7-10 days.
