I am a board-certified psychiatric NP, trained at New York University. I specialize in adults, children, adolescents, and geriatrics. My virtual and in-person practices are friendly and confidential spaces where I provide a thorough psychiatric evaluation and personalized medication management. My approach is to always see things from the client’s perspective. My mission is to support my clients while they create more meaningful progress in life. I use my expertise to help them find harmony between mind and body. I think mental health care can be a spiritual, and yet a scientific way for the client to look into their soul.
My focus is on the sessions: I listen to my clients and make them feel comfortable. I taught as an adjunct professor in nursing school. I worked in a children’s psychiatric hospital, an inpatient/outpatient adult psych unit, an addiction rehab, and a state psychiatric hospital. With the right medication management, clients can restore their mental wellness.
I only accept commercial insurance: Aetna, Cigna, Empire BCBS, Optum (Oxford, United Health Commercial, UMR, Oscar). The out-of-pocket rate is $300 for the initial and $150 for the follow-ups. I don't take community plans, Medicaid, Medicare, or other private insurance. I do psych eval, discuss medication treatment, and send the scripts to the pharmacy.
