I am an ANCC board certified, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP). Nurse Practitioners in the state of Oregon work independently from physicians. My services include psychiatric medication management, assessment, diagnosis, supportive therapy and psychoeducation. I will work with your therapist/counselor/ LCSW/psychologist, or refer you to someone who can meet your needs. PMHNP's are Advanced Practice Nurses with a Master's Degree (MSN), or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP). We assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with psychiatric disorders using our full scope of therapeutic skills, from a holistic perspective; including supplement recommendations, and prescription medications.
Radar, my standard poodle, is a big part of my practice. He has been certified as a therapy dog and enjoys interacting with my patients. My husband and I moved to Bend in 2017 after living in West Linn, OR for 14 years.
