I am passionate about serving Austinites in need, and I practiced as a community psychiatrist with the local mental health authority for years before joining the Roots Behavioral Health team in 2020.

As a board-eligible psychiatrist with a PhD in neuroscience, I offer a unique, integrative approach that blends the latest research with personalized, compassionate care. My training includes general psychiatry residency at Dell Medical School, alongside a strong research background in neuromodulation, mood disorders, and psychedelic-assisted therapy. I specialize in treating mood, anxiety, trauma-related, and substance use disorders, and I’m particularly passionate about interventions that work quickly and effectively.
