I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with 14 years of experience in providing mental health services. I am truly committed to providing adolescents and adults with high-quality, comprehensive, compassionate mental health care. My journey in the field of psychiatry started in the inpatient setting and has extended to the outpatient environment where I continue to apply evidence-based practice to clients presenting with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, and substance use disorder.
Although I can assess, diagnose, and prescribe medications depending on mental health issues, I truly believe in providing care through a holistic approach. This approach has been successful when psychotherapy, counseling, and nutritional changes are included as part of the treatment plan.
I started my journey in the field of psychiatry to provide mental health services to the desperate, needy individuals in our communities. It gives me joy and satisfaction when the lives of the above individuals are enriched with hope or some form of normalcy.
