I am double board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry and general adult psychiatry, specializing in anxiety, ADHD, and insomnia. I work with patients of all ages from my private practice in Westwood and have extensive clinical experience from medical training at UCI, residency at Harbor-UCLA, and fellowship training at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. Children and adults alike have mentioned that they appreciate my warm and friendly demeanor as well as my clear explanations of medication options and diagnoses. My careful approach to treatment takes into consideration what is right for you.
I have additional therapy training that I try to integrate with evidence based approaches. I am trained in CBT for insomnia, HRT for tics, ERP for anxiety, and work closely with play therapists and DBT/PCIT practitioners. For children under 10, I listen intently and try to better understand their most difficult emotions with books, toys, puppets, and games.
