Hi, I’m Heather, a psychiatric physician assistant with over 13 years of experience providing collaborative, thoughtful medication management for adults across North Carolina and Florida. I’m LGBTQIA+ affirming and trauma-informed, and I focus on creating a space where you feel heard, not rushed, judged, or reduced to a diagnosis. Many of my patients struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, or chronic stress and are looking for care that feels more personalized and intentional.
My approach to treatment is balanced and individualized. While medications can play an important role, lasting wellness often involves more. That’s why I also integrate lifestyle approaches like nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress management, and encourage therapy as part of comprehensive care.
I support folks with a variety of mental health concerns. Many of my patients come to me for help with anxiety, depression, or trauma, but I welcome anyone looking for collaborative, compassionate care. Outside of work, I enjoy stand up paddle boarding, camping, weight lifting, and spending time with my husband and our two rescue Great Danes.
