I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate mental health challenges. I have experience treating individuals with ADHD, depression, anxiety, mood swings, and trauma. I find it deeply rewarding to work collaboratively with patients and their families to create personalized care plans that foster resilience, growth, and emotional well-being. My approach to treatment centers on meeting my clients where they are in life.
I believe in fostering a therapeutic partnership that encourages growth and focuses on making meaningful changes with the most minimal yet effective use of medications. While medications cannot change life circumstances, they can provide the stability needed to feel calmer and less overwhelmed by day-to-day challenges.
I have over 14 years in healthcare working inpatient mental health and emergency medicine, so I encourage my patients to routinely work with their primary care providers to make sure both their physical and mental health care needs are met. Also, therapy is cool. :-) I will encourage my patients to see therapists!
