I started my journey as a mental health technician in 2009 and became a nurse in 2011. I have remained in the mental health field my entire nursing career in various settings and with all ages. I have worked in corrections, an inpatient substance abuse facility, and an inpatient behavioral and psychiatric hospital.
I am specialized in pediatric psychiatry as well as trauma-informed care treatment, with a focus on homeopathic options. ADHD is the most common diagnosis for children, but it is still vastly overlooked and stigmatized. I have placed a major focus on understanding and treating this diagnosis for pediatrics and adults.
I am a strong advocate for mental health care and enjoy educating to reduce the stigma that surrounds psychiatric diagnoses. I am passionate about helping people on their journey to overcome trauma and achieve a healthy mind.
