As a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I am committed to providing comprehensive, personalized care to patients. I have a strong foundation in both general medicine and psychiatry, which I have been able to incorporate into my practice thanks to my Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the Medical University of South Carolina. My goal is to empower patients to take an active role in their own healthcare and to work with them to develop personalized treatment plans that meet their unique needs.
I combine aspects of functional and conventional psychiatry to provide the most effective treatment for patients. While I treat a wide range of psychiatric concerns, I have a special focus on reproductive psychiatry, including premenstrual, perinatal, postpartum, and perimenopausal mental health changes.
Outside of work, I enjoy fostering dogs for a local animal rescue and participating in outdoor activities with my three dogs. I love experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes, traveling, and experiencing different cultures.
