I began my career as a pediatric nurse practitioner in pain management and saw such a huge need for mental healthcare. I decided to pursue my psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and now solely provides mental health services to the pediatric population.
My specialties include evaluations of ADHD and possibly will expand to autism evaluations in the future. I am also well versed in treatment of anxiety and depression in pediatric patients. While I'm not able to prescribe stimulants at this time, I am more than happy to work with your pediatrician on recommendations for ADHD treatment.
I offer evaluations along with medication management.
When not working you will find me hanging out and doing activities with my husband and 3 young children. I have personal experience with pediatric mental health and can connect with parents and guide them through decision making and recommendations.
