Golden Strides Behavioral Health cares for all psychiatric diagnoses, but we have a deep heart for supporting children and young adults (4-30yo) facing the unique emotional weight of chronic pain and chronic medical conditions, such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, POTS, and functional disorders. These are just a few examples, and we welcome children and young adults with many other chronic health conditions as well. We understand how these health challenges ripple through every part of a young person's life, from school and friendships to their very sense of self.
We take a collaborative, trauma-informed approach to care, working closely with families and other providers to understand each child’s story. We realize that many living with chronic illness have felt unheard or been told their symptoms are “all in their head,” and our goal is to change that narrative. We provide a validating and supportive space.
A Georgia native, Hannah enjoys time with her husband, three children, and two beloved dogs. It was her golden retriever who inspired the name “Golden Strides.” As a mother herself, she possesses a deep, personal understanding of the intricate decisions parents face with medical decisions, and as a provider she is there for you every step of the way.
