My practice is primarily Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I see few adults who want psychotherapy and may or may not need medication. I provide a comprehensive psychiatric and psychological assessment before I recommend any form of treatment. I am available to my patients round a clock. There are no night time or weekends on call doctors to deal with!
Medication is not indicated for every condition. I believe that children and adolescents need and deserve individual and family therapy even if they are on medication. I provide psychotherapy along with any medication for my patients. I do not see patients only for prescriptions. I also may refer my patients to very experienced family therapist
I like to talk with potential clients on the phone first, to make sure that we are a "good fit" and that I can provide what they need. My patients can communicate with me by email about relatively simple issues or questions and can rely on my availability by cell phone
