Does your child struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, social skills or low self esteem? I specialize in child and adolescent psychiatry. Since research has shown that the most effective treatment combination is psychotherapy and medication, I like to use evidence based treatments in my practice and tend to be conservative in my approach to medications. I use a patient centered approach to care. I understand that mental health treatment is unique to each patient and their family and I strive to help each patient with their individual need. I offer tools such as meditation and exercise as opposed to a medication only approach.

I am a board certified psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience treating a wide range of mental health issues. I specialize in the management of eating disorders and women's mental health issues, particularly the emotional challenges specific to pregnancy, breastfeeding, and parenting/maternal identity. I work collaboratively with my patients to understand their unique experience and develop a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs.

I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management and consultation as well as psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults. I also work with other providers who are providing psychotherapy where I would manage the psychiatric medications of the patient. I believe in working together with all providers as a team.
