Stephanie is a certified psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner with 10+years' experience in psychiatry. I work with various populations and has worked in a variety of levels of care, including outpatient clinic, partial hospital program, dual diagnosis treatment, adult memory care, assisted living and inpatient units. My strengths include working with vulnerable populations, those with severe and persistent mental illness, psychotic disorders, dually diagnosed patients, and individuals affected by traumatic experiences.
I understand the importance of medication adherence and the need to explore circumstances hindering this desired goal which is why I make it a primary focus during routine follow up sessions. I enjoy giving clients the individualized attention they deserve and treats everyone with respect and dignity. I understand the unique needs of each individual client.
I believe quality patient-centered care is a priority. To attain this, a strong provider-patient relationship is important to meeting patients’ health care needs. My goal as a healthcare provider is to deliver quality patient care with compassion and competence and be a leader in the community.
