Amanda is a dual-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), with over a decade of healthcare experience. She has experience in a variety of mental health settings including psychiatric crisis stabilization, psychiatric inpatient hospitals, inpatient addiction/detox, correctional health, MAT clinics, & outpatient clinics. Her goal is to help her patients reach their full potential with what wellness means to them. She aims to treat her patients with a holistic wellness approach that encompasses both mental and physical health.

I am an experienced board-certified Family Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am currently treating patients in the West Valley, child, adolescent/teen, and adults. My treatment approach is evidence based and collaborative. I like to meet you where you are. Each person has their own unique needs and background and, that is where I start. By using the most up to date pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical interventions, my patients have a variety of treatment modalities to choose from. There are no 5min "med refill" visits. At GenHealth, you have an experienced care team to help guide you back to “the real you”.

I am keenly interested in helping you feel better both emotionally and physically as well as helping you be successful in the relationships that matter most to you. My goal is to provide seamless care so that as your doctor who knows you best, through therapy, I'm also managing the medications that are part of our collaborative treatment plan.

Dr. Mark Chofla is a board-certified psychiatrist and physician who completed his specialty residency training at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California at Davis, Dr. Chofla earned his medical degree from Midwestern University: Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.
