My goal is geared towards establishing an environment centered on trust and meaning for all patients from all backgrounds. As a lead nurse practitioner during the pandemic times of isolation, quarantine, and minimal social events, I observed and treated the immediate, short-term impacts of COVID-19 and grew an interest in understanding the long-term mental health impacts of the pandemic, especially among marginalized groups of people.
I want to help my patients by being a supportive, compassionate, and therapeutic ally using my training in family medicine and psychiatry. Working in both rural and urban settings, I developed a significant base of knowledge and information about the medical and psychiatric needs of my patient population, which tend to overlap.

In addition to evaluations and medication management, Mission Wellness Psychiatry interprets lab and genetic testing results to further individualize the care plan.
