As an adult psychiatrist, I emphasize an integrative approach to wellness that involves treating the entire person--mind, body, and spirit. I help my patients identify the barriers that keep them from a fulfilling life. I believe in building a strong therapeutic alliance because positive relationships can foster hope and healing. When appropriate, I prescribe psychotropic medications to optimize wellness but also work with individuals who prefer treatment without the use of medications. My practice specializes in the treatment of adults with anxiety, depression, bipolar, post-partum disorders, and psychotic disorders.
