I am a Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD) and NASM-Certified Personal Trainer/ Nutrition Coach who treats adults (ages 20s-40s) struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, body image/eating issues, life adjustments, loss, insomnia, panic, and OCD. With a warm and practical approach to psychotherapy, I prescribe medications gently and only when necessary. My multiple certifications by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) enable me to offer comprehensive lifestyle-oriented psychiatric treatment incorporating coaching on physical exercise, nutrition, yoga, sleep, & meditation to aim for optimal wellness.
I'm a medical school Valedictorian from New York Medical College and completed my adult psychiatry residency training at NYU Langone Health / Bellevue Hospital where I now serve as Clinical Assistant Professor. I have NASM credentials as a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutrition Coach, Weight Loss Specialist, and Behavior Change Specialist.
I charge discounted rates the first several months to help you ease into the out-of-network reimbursement process with insurance.
