Being trained and current with the best evidence based medication treatment strategy she places a strong emphasis on psychotherapy as the foundation of treatment. Her areas of subspecialty include treatment -resistant depression, maternal mental health and mood disorders.
Dr. Zarrabi specializes in treatment resistant psychiatric conditions and has pioneered the use of psychogenomic testing- an effective new tool for diagnosing conditions and customizing what treatments work best for each individual patient. Additionally she offers IV & intranasal ketamine, TMS, psychological testing, and Zulresso.
Along with being an expert in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, Dr. Zarrabi is trained on many alternative forms of treatment including diet and supplements, lifestyle changes, meditation and mindfulness exercises and prefers to integrate these into her traditional treatment plan.
