After 38 years of nursing experience, George completed advanced training at North Georgia College and State University where he earned a Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. George worked for several years with indigenous people on the Cherokee Indian reservation where he found a calling to help people with mental health and addiction issues. He completed a Post-Master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at East Carolina University and a certification as a Certified Addiction Registered Nurse – Advance Practice.
