I work with individuals navigating anxiety disorders, panic, and OCD, especially when fear and avoidance start shaping how they live. Anxiety is part of our natural threat-detection system, but sometimes it becomes overactive, labeling everyday experiences as dangerous. You might find yourself avoiding situations, sensations, or even thoughts in an effort to feel safe. While that can bring short-term relief, it often deepens the cycle of fear. Our work together focuses on breaking that cycle so that you can feel more grounded, flexible, and connected.
We’ll look closely at your patterns, how you think, what you avoid, what you fear, and explore the internal dynamics that drive them. Often, the parts of us that feel anxious are trying to help in some way: by anticipating problems, staying in control, or keeping us alert. I help you understand those parts, work with them, and begin to feel more at ease.
I’ve worked with adults in a wide range of settings, including college students, healthcare workers, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals, and high-achieving professionals. If you’re feeling unsure, you don’t need a perfect plan to get started, just a willingness to explore. I’ll meet you there.
