Hi, my name is George Dekeles and as a PMHNP with over 26 years of experience, I’ve dedicated my entire life to mental health—this isn’t just my career, it’s truly my passion. My own family has faced severe mental illness, and those experiences pushed me to earn the knowledge and training that now help me support other families and prevent unnecessary hospitalizations.
I treat my patients like family, and I would never recommend or prescribe anything I wouldn’t confidently give to someone I love. I pride myself on being available outside of just our appointment time if you have medication questions or scheduling concerns.
I’ve spent my entire career here in Florida, and moments like discovering a patient was born in the same city as me remind me why personal connection matters so much in healing. In addition I am an adjunct faculty instructor for the University of South Florida and Nova Southeastern University.
