I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience in the Mental Health field. My experience includes inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. I am dually certified as an Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner across the life span by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Graduated from Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, and University of Miami. I am currently providing Tele-Psychiatry services for Massachusetts, and New York.

Dr. Allison Jackson is a Harvard-trained board-certified psychiatrist who opened MindfulMD as a way to provide individually tailored, compassionate psychiatric care for her patients. She is accepting new patients in Florida (in-person and virtual) and Massachusetts (virtual only). She has experience treating a wide variety of conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, sleep issues, sexual health issues, bipolar disorder, PTSD, derm-psych conditions i.e. skin picking and trichotillomania, and many more. She also has worked with patients on managing stress related to relationships, illness, burnout, grief, career, or identity.

Vanja received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Tennessee State University and her Masters of Science in psychiatric nursing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She strives to create a secure and stable environment for her patients in order to facilitate collaboration and the creation of an effective treatment plan.

Hello! I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in psychiatric evaluation and medication management. I have expertise treating adults with ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorders, insomnia, and personality disorders. I am a Harvard-trained, Harvard-affiliated, board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. I strongly believe that the best psychiatric care is centered on the whole person, not just on a diagnosis or specific medication. I provide weekly therapy and work with patients to determine if medications can be of help. I do not believe that everyone needs a medication, but they can be useful in treating particular psychiatric symptoms; I will work with you in order to find the best treatment modality that meets your goals and needs.
