I work with children, teens, women, and families, focusing on how behavioral changes (sometimes coupled with medication) can improve their psychological & physical well-being. When addressing the concerns of a child, I include the whole family system. I am a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner who has a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults. My practice focuses include emergency psychiatry, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

Welcome, I'm a therapist and psychiatrist with expertise in working with young children, adolescents, and their parents. I completed my medical training at the University of Chicago and the Yale Child Study Center. With your consent, I work collaboratively with the child, parents, schools, and other professionals to personalize a treatment that focuses on your goals, values, strengths, and needs. By integrating what works from up-to-date evidence-based treatments with neuroscience and psychoanalytic ways of understanding a mind's development, I seek to empower my patients to suffer less and live with more authenticity, creativity, and freedom.

Dr Sheila Devlin-Craane - Counseling Associates Inc / EMDR for Trauma is a DNP, & Clinical Specialist, board certified in psychiatric mental health with more than 35 years’ experience. She obtained a doctorate at Fairfield University as a psychiatric DNP. She is also nationally certified in EMDR which is a preferred treatment for trauma and PTSD as well as anxiety and stress disorders. Dr. Devlin has prescriptive authority in both New York and Ct. Katherine is a Board Certified Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Springfield College where she completed her clinical training In psychiatry in the inpatient hospital setting. After graduating, Katherine focused her career in community based mental health and addiction treatment. Her knowledge of psychopharmacology stems from over 9 years’ experience treating a wide scope of mental health conditions including mood, anxiety, and substance use disorders throughout the clinic, hospital, and addiction treatment environments.

I am a pediatrician for 10 years. I see adults, adolescents, and children. I provide comprehensive diagnostic consultations, medication management and psychotherapy.

It is important for each person to feel a connection with a provider. My hope is to individualize care, treat each person with respect, and enhance a sense of wellbeing. Although I work with different ages, I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults. I offer medication management and psychotherapy in Marblehead, MA and Glastonbury CT.

As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 20 years experience in the field, I’ve had the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and in a variety of treatment settings. Specialty areas are recovery from narcissistic abuse/domestic violence, attachment styles/traumas, OCD/anxiety, depression, grief/loss, anger management, postpartum, divorce/separation, and codependency. Also, I am a board-certified, UCSF and Yale trained adult psychiatrist with expertise in the treatment of trauma. I’m the Co-founder of Nema Health, a telehealth practice that offers effective and research-backed care for trauma survivors. We currently offer Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a first-line treatment endorsed by the National Center for PTSD. 90% of our patients experience clinical improvement in their trauma symptoms.
