I'm interested in treating clients that are motivated to engage in self-care related to their mental health and the realization that medication is simply a tool to support their efforts to engage in healthy life styles, which would enhance their physical and mental health.

I'm a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner with prescription privileges and have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. I have treated a variety of psychiatric disorders in their acute, as well as chronic stages within urban, as well as rural settings for the past 28 years.

The prospect of experiencing a change in our mental health is frightening, especially when there is a sense of losing control and it seems as if, we have no place to find refuge. We all have the potential to be confronted by anxiety, depression, or other changes in our mental health, but this can be managed with the appropriate support and treatment.
