Hi there! My name is Galia. I am a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, who likes to provide unrushed, holistic treatment. Our sessions will typically last 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your preference. I prefer to combine solution-focused psychotherapy with medication management, as I believe we get further with both chemistry and logic. I am receptive to clients who lean towards med management only or non-medication solutions. I also like to offer medical food treatment with or without psychotropics when appropriate. Data is very important in the subjective world of psychiatry.
Therefore, I offer neurotransmitter, genetic, and lab testing to those clients who are data driven as well. As far as specialties, I have experience with the treatment of anxiety disorders to include OCD; mood disorders including bipolar; insomnia; personality disorders and much more.
