I am a physician with over 25 years of clinical experience working with patients and supervising trainees at a number of medical schools and universities. I am board certified in the treatment of children, adolescents, and general psychiatry, treating patients aged 2 - 65 years. I offer psychiatric assessment and management of psychotropic medications. However, medication in my practice is only a part of comprehensive mental health care. In my care of children and adolescents, I prioritize a partnership between myself, the child and parents. I have over 12 years of adult nursing experience. I have spent the last 10 years in an adult medical ICU treating the oncology population. Dr. Dhingra completed an additional year of training in Geriatric Psychiatry, graduating in 2020.
