Hi I'm Rho! I'm a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner that treats mental health disorders via medication management and brief psychotherapy skills review. Some of my interests include treating mental health disorders related to life changes, optimizing medication regimens utilizing the fewest effective medications, and helping people learn/implement coping skills to utilize alongside their medications to improve mental wellness. My goal when working with any client is to provide care that enables them to decrease distress and live the life they envision for themselves!

I have been in psychiatry for 28 years. I see all ages, I typically offer second medication opinions to those who have been struggling with their current medications and lack of satisfactory results. I also offer supportive therapy.

Growing up in Louisiana and being raised in an environment where mental illness was viewed as something you just "get over," or "there is no such thing as depression," or "you are not old enough to be depressed." I can go on. It took me years to realize that many of my decisions -both good & bad; had everything to do with how I viewed the world from my experiences, and how I allowed those experiences to shape my life & value system. Although I have spent many years healing from complex trauma, I am blessed to say that God was my source through it all. However, God also created humans to love one another, & to be kind to one another.
