Being a mother of 6 children I know the importance of mental health and how difficult it is to find the right doctor, so I created a online private practice. One aspect of my practice involves helping patients of all ages to reassess their current medication regimen or explore the possibility of tapering off their medication. I understand that medication can be a useful tool in managing mental health symptoms, it is important to regularly reassess the effectiveness and side effects of any medication a patient is taking and evaluate the benefits and risks of their current medication to determine if any changes need to be made.
If a patient is interested in tapering off their medication, I work with them to develop a plan that is safe and appropriate for their individual needs. This may involve gradually reducing the dosage of their medication or exploring alternative treatment options.I believe that it is important for patients to be fully informed about their treatment options.
