I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Miami (“Go Canes”) and medical school at Nova Southeastern University, Psychiatry residency training at Palm Beach Consortium of Graduate Medical Education. Later I completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine. I have worked with a wide variety of patients with depression, anxiety , and ADHD. The hands-on care, education, and service needed behind treating the emotional, physical, and mental states of my patients have fueled my passion for psychiatry.

I am an adult psychiatrist with over 25 years of experience. I specialize in psychopharmacology and research in the treatments of ADHD, depression, anxiety , OCD, bipolar disorders and psychosis. When possible I use natural alternatives in combination with therapy, I also work in conjunction with therapists and medical doctors when appropriate. The initial evaluation is one hour, it includes an evaluation of the current symptoms, stressors and genetic history; past psychiatric history, prior medications, medical history, substance abuse, and other questions pertinent to your diagnosis. The follow up sessions are usually half an hour.

She holds a doctorate in nursing practice from the University at Buffalo and bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Rochester. Before joining Rivia, Dr. Clark served as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in the U.S. Air Force where she worked with patients struggling with a wide- range of concerns including depression, anxiety , trauma, ADHD, mood and sleep issues, alcohol dependence, relationship issues, and general life stress.
