On completion of my degree, I travelled to the United States and worked as a travel nurse before obtaining my graduate degree in Adult Health from the University of Arizona. Following this, I specialized in inpatient hospital medicine. During this time, I became sensitive to the often neglected and overlooked mental health needs of the hospatient with complex physical illness.

She decided to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University to obtain her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree in 2021.
